Competitions and Awards

We have a number of competitions, awards and bursaries available at Ecohealth 2010. These are outlined below

Student Awards

Awards will be given to the top student oral presentations and top student posters.  Please find the rubric that will be used for judging here.  If you are presenting at the conference and registered as a student, you are automatically entered into the competition.  If you would rather not have your presentation judged, please contact Micah Hahn ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) to remove yourself from the judging list.

Judges Needed
Judging for the student oral and poster presentations will be done by judging pairs.  There will be one practicing EcoHealth professional and one student in each pair in order to create a mentoring environment throughout the judging process.  Judges will be provided with a rubric for scoring presentations, and each pair will only be asked to commit to one poster or oral session.  Judges must be members of the International Association of Ecology and Health.  If you are interested in volunteering to judge student presentations, please contact Micah Hahn ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. London Photographic Competition for London Schools

To promote the conference themes internationally, we are holding a new award for Ecohealth photography, for young people in London’s schools to show us what they think of the themes of Ecohealth. We will launch this new award in London in 2010, developed in collaboration with the London Photographic Association, who will support and promote this award internationally.  Please click here for further information
